Cookies
This site sets no cookies of its own. The only cookies that can appear come from two measurement tools, and neither is loaded until you agree to it. If you have not answered the banner, or you declined, nothing below has been set.

Essential cookies
None. The site needs no cookie to function, which is why refusing everything on this page costs you nothing: no feature degrades, and no content is withheld.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4. It counts pages and sessions so we can tell which work is worth continuing. It runs with IP anonymisation on, and we have not linked it to Google Ads, so it sets no advertising cookies. Both cookies are first-party, meaning they are set on agisalt.com and are not readable by other sites.
| Cookie | Purpose | Party | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Distinguishes one browser from another | First | 2 years |
| _ga_7XQ4ET9M31 | Holds session state for this property | First | 2 years |
Browsers cut those lifetimes short on their own: Chrome caps first-party cookies at 400 days without a return visit, and Safari at seven.
Session replay
Microsoft Clarity. It records pointer movement, scrolling and clicks so we can see where the site confuses people, and aggregates that into heatmaps. Text you type into any field is masked before it leaves your browser, and so are numbers and email addresses appearing in the page.
Set on agisalt.com
| Cookie | Purpose | Party | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| _clck | Holds a Clarity user ID and preferences for this site | First | Not published |
| _clsk | Joins several page views into one session recording | First | Not published |
Set by Microsoft, on Microsoft’s own domains
| Cookie | Purpose | Party | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| CLID | Records the first time Clarity saw this browser on any site using it | Third | Not published |
| MUID | Identifies the browser across Microsoft sites, for advertising, site analytics and operational purposes | Third | Not published |
| SM | Synchronises MUID across Microsoft domains | Third | Not published |
| MR | Indicates whether MUID should be refreshed | Third | Not published |
| ANONCHK | Indicates whether MUID is passed to an advertising cookie. Clarity sets it to 0, meaning it is not | Third | Not published |
Two things worth stating plainly rather than leaving in a table. First, MUID is a Microsoft advertising identifier: agreeing to session replay means Microsoft can recognise your browser across its own properties, which is a broader consequence than the recording itself. Second, Microsoft does not publish expiry durations for these cookies, so we have written “not published” rather than repeat a figure we cannot source. If you would rather none of that happened, leave session replay off, the rest of the site, and analytics if you want it, work exactly the same.
Changing your mind
Open at any time, here or from the link in the footer of every page. Turning something off deletes the cookies it set on agisalt.com and reloads the page without the tool : withdrawal stops collection rather than merely recording that you asked it to.
The cookies Microsoft sets on its own domains are outside this site’s reach and have to be cleared through your browser’s settings. They are named above so you can find them.
Your choice is stored in your browser, not on our servers, and never leaves your device. Clearing your browser data clears it, and the banner will ask again.
What we do not do
We run no advertising cookies of our own, sell no data, and operate no cross-site tracking beyond the Microsoft behaviour described above. There is no third tool waiting behind a category name: the two above are the whole list.
